Summer drives are a great way to soak in the warmer temperatures here in Hyannis while building memories with those you love. Here are some fun road trip destinations in Cape Cod to check out.
Route 6A wanderings
Hit up Route 6A to glimpse some of the oldest villages in the States, like Sandwich, Yarmouth, and Brewster. Make sure to check out some of the Cape’s best beaches like Nauset and Skaket, as well as the more secluded dunes found at Cape Cod National Seashore. Stop at Provincetown to get a photo op at Pilgrim Monument, the location that commemorates where the Pilgrims first landed in America before traveling on to Plymouth.
Pack some bikes when loading up your Chevy, then head to the scenic Nauset Bike Path for a pleasant day of cycling. The route culminates in views of the “Three Sisters” lighthouse towers. Bonus tip: grab dinner at one of Eastham’s restaurants like Brickhouse or Arnold’s Lobster & Clam Bar before heading home.
A drive-in date
Catch a movie at Wellfleet Drive-In this summer for a retro way to enjoy a film with your family. It’s the only drive-in theater on Cape Cod ever since it opened back in 1957.
The Copeland Chevrolet Hyannis team wishes you and yours a safe and enjoyable summer. Remember to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your Chevy this season.
