The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a thrilling sports car, but it’s also a vehicle for change. The sale of the potent Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Edition earned Operation Homefront a donation of $3.6 million. The sale, which happened at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction, is a record holder, besting the amount raised by the sale of the first retail 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. That sale, although impressive, was $600,000 less.

Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit. It helps military families in need.

“The proceeds from the sale of this sensational Corvette Z06 will go a long way to helping us help our military families overcome their financial hardships and have the opportunity to thrive in the communities – our communities – they’ve worked so hard to protect,” said Brig. Gen. (ret.) John I. Pray Jr., president and CEO of Operation Homefront.

Notable Features of the New Corvette

The 2023 Corvette Z06 delivers thrills on the road thanks to its naturally-aspirated V8 paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which generates a thunderous 670 horsepower rating. It launches the Corvette to 60 mph in a matter of seconds — approximately 2.6 seconds.

The look of the Corvette is a sight to behold. Compared to the sleek Stingray, the Z06 has wider fenders, fascias, and quarter panels to create an imposing silhouette.
